Cleaning up nature: still too much plastic!

Unfortunately, there are still people who throw their waste - cigarette butts, tissues, various cans, plastic, not to mention the countless masks, etc. - in our beautiful nature.
So much invasive waste that can be found on the sides of highways, parks or along the banks of our rivers. Obviously, this seemingly trivial behavior has many repercussions on our environment. Pollution is more present than ever around us and it shows.
At Cible, we are extremely (x1000) sensitive to this environmental issue. Our philosophy is that it is a citizen’s duty to respect our planet, the one that gives us the right to live and that allows us to grow as human beings.
As part of our 20 years 20 gestures, our marketing editor Kasandra went for a walk along the Magog River. In just five minutes, here’s what she found:
- Lots of beer cans
- Plastic utensils and cups
- Tissues and small glass pieces
- Masks
- Coffee cups
There is still a lot of work to be done in terms of awareness to make people realize that it is important to adopt responsible behaviors every day to preserve our beautiful nature. We can’t say it often enough, but every little action can make a real difference.
This caring and supportive gesture can be done anytime, anywhere! We invite you to do it, with your family or friends, again and again!
