Challenge 2-4-8: A call for donations to fight against food insecurity
Developed by Cible, Challenge 2-4-8 aims to raise awareness about PARTAGE and its Cantines du Monde and its main objective is to raise €375,000 by the end of December.
In digital format, Challenge 2-4-8 is a fun and startling challenge, where everyone – children, parents, friends, colleagues, chefs and restorers – take up the challenge in the kitchen. Participants are asked to prepare two recipes, for 4 people, with a meager budget of €8, the equivalent of about $12.
Those who take up the challenge must share it on their social media with the keyword #Challenge248, identify three people in their network, invite them to participate in the challenge and to ultimately make a donation to the Cantines du Monde cause.
The campaign has been built to become an annual flagship event: all participants are invited to donate or create their own fundraising campaign for the children’s cause, and several in-person activities are organized by local chapters across France, including a photo exhibition and activities in primary and high schools throughout the country.
Quebec is invited to take up the challenge
Even on the other side of the Atlantic, Quebecers who are sensitive to the cause of global food security can participate in this awareness campaign and take up Challenge 2-4-8.
Through the Donna platform, you can create an online team and raise funds for the Cantines du Monde and PARTAGE activities. You can also visit the online store and find promotional items in the association’s colors, such as aprons, T-shirts, water bottles, eco-cups, etc.
